Problem: A $1B international corporation needed to rethink their global operations strategy in light of rapidly changing conditions.
Solution: They engaged Becky Morgan to challenge and invigorate internal thinking during the process. Working with the VP Operations, 3 – 4 key strategies were defined and prioritized for each operational unit that, in total, supported business and market plans. We analyzed resources required to ensure the strategies were executable, and reviewed and modified metrics to make them complementary across units.
Result: The wisdom of the strategies was manifest in growing market share and profits during the 2008+ recession and the subsequent recovery.
